Description

I have always wanted to process an image that is as widefield as this, with regard to the Pleiades. From the data set, provided by Roboscopes at e-Eye, I used 75 subs at 3 minutes long each, plus 200 subs at 1 minute long each, for the core. This works out as an imaging time of 7 hours and 5 minutes.

I used Pier 4, which is a ZWO ASI-2066MC Pro OSC, with a Sigma 105mm f/1.4 lens stopped to F/2, an Astromechanics focuser, guided with a ZWO ASI-120 Mini and ZWO Mini guide scope, on an Astro Physics AP900 GTo3 mount. The mount actually runs unguided, so the guide scope is in there only as a backup.

Take care everyone.

Simon
